#### 1. Transactions that are NOT supported by the Refund API

1. Transactions that are marked as failed on Coda records but customers are charged&#x20;
2. Codashop transactions

#### 2. What is the date range limitation of the refund?

Refunds need to be requested within <mark style="color:purple;">**14 days**</mark> after a transaction is completed

#### 3. What is the SLA between the initiated refund request and the updated final refund status?

Within <mark style="color:purple;">**3 working days**</mark>

#### 4. What is "`amount_currency`" and "`amount_value`" ?

The local currency based on the original payment

#### 5. What payment channels are eligible for a refund?

Please refer to the list [**here**](https://coda-payments.gitbook.io/coda-private-technical-documentation/codapay/refund-a-payment/supported-payment-channel). If the payment channel is not supported, we will return with "<mark style="color:purple;">**Failed**</mark>" status. Please reach out to publisher support if you have any concerns.

#### 6. Do we support Sandbox testing?

Yes. However, to simulate approval or rejection of a refund request, merchants must provide the **Coda transaction ID** to us. Coda will then manually update the status.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.coda.co/codapay/codapay-integration-faq/refund-api.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
